The great traverse. Three days connecting Morocco's two most storied cities by the most beautiful road possible: over the High Atlas, through the kasbah valleys, across the dunes of Erg Chebbi, and up the Ziz Valley to Fes.
Day 01
Marrakech to Dades Gorge
Drive — approx. 320 km / ~6.5h with stops

Over Tizi n'Tichka to the fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou — film set of Gladiator and Game of Thrones — then east through Ouarzazate, the Skoura palm oasis, and the Valley of Roses to a night in the Dades Gorge.
